The summoned Guardians in RO2 Legend of the Second can also be upgraded by finishing the guardian growth quest. These upgraded guardians can give you more boost than the usual.
Initiate the quest by talking to NPC <Blacksmith Expert> Gruparz
He can be found at the upper right of the Prontera map.
Then click the 'Guardian Vulcan: Growth' to start the quest.
Same as the previous quest but this time you have to do is bring him a Brilliant Leader's Chain Gaiters.
There are two ways to get the Brilliant Leader's Chain Gaiters.
- If you're lazy and rich, just buy it from another blacksmith.
- Craft a Brilliant Leader's Chain Gaiters by yourself. (That's more challenging!)
Additional thing, you must obtain the following recipes:
- Brilliant Leader's Chain Gaiters recipe
- Medium Silver Ore, Large Silver Ore and Silver Ingot recipes
- Eternal Life Crystal recipe
Following the Brilliant Leader's Chain Gaiters recipe, You need the following materials:
- Silver Ores(small/medium/large), gather them at the Maple Forest, south of Payon Forest.
- Silver Ingot, you can obtain these by refining those copper ores you gathered.
- Eternal Life Crystal, craft processed material at Job Level 20
- Oridecon Anvil, buy them from NPC <Blacksmith Expert> Gruparz, or other Blacksmith NPC.
Always remember that after crafting your Brilliant Leader's Chain Gaiters, DO NOT EQUIP IT! just let the item stay in your bag.
Finally talk to NPC <Blacksmith Expert> Gruparz and give him the Brilliant Leader's Chain Gaiters.
And the 'Guardian Vulcan: Growth' quest is done. Congratulations, your summoned guardian can give you more boost and you can also see the real form of Guardian Vulcan!
